INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS UNDER ARTICLE 33 OF THE REACH REGULATION<\/strong><\/div>

REACH, the European Chemicals Regulation, has been implemented in all EU member states since January 1, 2007. Since October 28, 2008, the Candidate List of SVHC substances under Article 59 (1, 1 0) of Regulation (EC) No 1907\/2006 (“REACH”) has been published and <\/div>
can be viewed on the ECHA website.<\/div>
<\/div>
Following the SVHC identification procedure, the European Chemicals Agency ECHA added metallic lead (EC No. 231-100-4 | CAS No. 7439-92-1) to the REACH Candidate List on June 27, 2018.<\/div>
<\/div>
The inclusion of a substance in the EU Candidate List creates information obligations in the supply chain: If the limit of 0.1% by mass of a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) in an incorporated component product is exceeded, information must be provided in accordance with Art. 33 (1) of the REACH Regulation, regardless of the percentage by mass in the overall product. Furthermore, sufficient information must be made available to enable recipients of the articles to use the article safely. <\/div>

Some of the articles manufactured and distributed by Wilhelm Ungeheuer S\u00f6hne GmbH are affected by this information obligation due to the inclusion of metallic lead in the REACH Candidate List. The affected articles are marked on our order confirmations, invoices, and technical data sheets with the following information: <\/div>

Along the supply chain, our customers are also obliged to pass on this information to commercial buyers. Upon request, this information must also be provided to end-users. This applies regardless of a potential purchase and requires a response within 45 days. <\/div>
